Strange familiar images inscribed upon familiar material. Painted loosely in eerily bright colors, this image one inscribed upon my eyelids as I sleep at night: rectangles featureless faces arranged in symmetrical rows. We consume these images the same as we consume our liquor from the grocery store, routinely and in haze.
